Missi Thede - my experience...
I started off designing websites in 1998 and just dabbling in design work. In 2000 I entered my career as a graphic designer for Marshalltown Newspapers Inc. doing ad and newspaper layout and websites for several papers. I continued my career in 2005 for an additional 6 years working for the Manchester Press creating sales and marketing materials, ads and newspaper layout.
In 2006 I started Thede Photography - a great passion of mine... shooting motocross all over Iowa and Illinois even reaching out to South Dakota and Minnesota. During this time I created all of my own marketing materials (weekly flyers, banners, brochures, business cards, postcards, awards, decals, apparel) and created a "team" starting with 25 riders my first year and ending with a team of over 450 riders! It was time to move on after 7 years.
Over the years I have made marketing materials for KMCH Radio and their sister stations consisting of marketable range maps, flyers, banners, magnets and web banner ads. Since 2007 I have designed motocross plaques and flyers for several race tracks and for District 22 Motocross Club.
After "retiring" from Thede Photography in 2012, I joined Manchester Signs, where I continue to do design work ranging from signs, banners, cut vinyl, decals and what I love the most, designing toy truck and tractor decals.
I also continue to do design work for KMCH Radio, Trophy Joe and Arlen Design through Ag & Truck Market Magazine.
I STRONGLY encourage you to request more samples from my portfolio that are not found here on this website. I have done so many projects, that there are way too many to post online!
I truly love and enjoy what I do!
